The programmes of the long weekend of 15-18th March

15th March is a holiday in Hungary because we remember the people of 15th March 1848, who started a revolution and war of independence agains the Habsburg dinasty.

Nowadays people don't work on this day, and as this year  it is a Thursday there is a mix in the working days, and we have a four-day-long weekend.

It's a good chance for the families to have a rest and Hajduszoboszlo is waiting for the visitors. There are special offers at the accomodations, and at the Hungarospa complex.

10 am. - 'The Youth of March" - remembering of the heroes of 1848-49 in the Aqua Palace, Hungarospa complex,
7 pm - "Hot Blood" - a concert by Attila Dolhai and the Gypsyland band in the Community House and Library

Thursday 15th March -

5 pm - opening of the exhibition of István Tamus in the Community House and Library
6 pm - 'Spring Melodies" - classical music concert in the Community House and Library

Friday 16ht March -

2 pm - clown show in the Aqua-Palace, Hungarospa complex
7 pm - "Köszönj vissza szerelem' a romantic comedy in the Community House and Library
9 pm - "Bubble Party" - night bathing in the Aqua-Palace, Hungarospa complex

Saturday 17th March -

3 pm - "Mini Miki Party" - for the kids in the Aqua-Palace, Hungarospa complex
4 pm - "Peti the Magician Show" - for the kids in Aqua-Palace, Hungarospa complex
5 pm - Carmen Tse World Champion Street Dance Show, and birthday cake eating in the Snack bar of Aqua-Palace Surfing Buiilding
9 pm - "Wiches and Magicians Fashion Show" and night bathing in the Aqua-Palace, Hungarospa complex

Spring programmes in the area

"Spring in Hortobágy" 

is the name of this programme series which takes place between  15th and 18th March in Hortobágy.
The programmes include: 
  • looking for stork eggs - for extra prizes
  • old folk games
  • caressing animals like baal-lams and goat kids
  • sale of stroks
  • carriage driving in the plain and horse show
  • feeding wounded storks
